I swim 2-3X a week and don't wear a swim cap (I just hate them, okay?). As a result, my hair can feel tangled, dried out, and brittle as time goes on, and my hairdresser has noted "build-up" of chlorine when I've gone to the salon. for a wash and cut. However, this shampoo does a good job at getting rid of both the chlorine feeling AND smell after using the pool.
I use a small coin-sized amount and wash my hair twice in a row to make sure all of the chemicals have been removed. My hair instantly feels soft and manageable. I use a conditioner afterwards, though, just to be safe. You wouldn't even know I had spent an hour in the pool without a swim cap, it's that good!
My only qualm is that it's pretty pricey; however, you are paying for quality here, so I think it's a very reasonable expense to make, especially if you're often in the pool.
Note: I did not purchase conditioner from the same brand; I use any conditioner I have lying around, and my hair feels fantastic afterwards.
