I got the Cold Shoe Phone Mount Holder to use my phone with tripods and camera setups for video recording. This mount is compact and convenient, though it does have some room for improvement.
Pros:
- Strong magnet holds the phone securely, even when shaking.
- Magnetic design makes it easy to attach and remove the phone, usable in both portrait and landscape.
- Slim and compact, can also serve as a phone stand.
- Good build quality, sturdy aluminum and adjustable hinges for different angles.
- Compatible with MagSafe and includes a magnetic ring for non-MagSafe phones.
Cons:
- Could be longer at the hinge, limiting angles for larger phones.
- Charging port gets blocked in portrait mode.
- Limited adjustability unless paired with a ball mount for more motion.
