  For someone new to the Pokemon trading card game, it can be difficult to know where to start. Most of the other sets sold out there are usually booster packs with a featured rare card or two, which is fine if you're looking to collect. But if you want to actually play the game, as my kids were looking to do, then this is a great place to start.
  
  The box comes with everything you need to play, including the play mat, coin, damage counters, instructions, and 3 beginner deck sets for you to start playing with right away. My kids loved them and the decks are well built for teaching/learning purposes.
