The duck allows you to set what temperature you want it to flash and alert you that it's too hot. See my video. I was filling my bathtub with hot water only and the duck started flashing it was too hot as soon as I dropped it into the water. I like that the response is so quick. It would make it perfect for people with children as well. That way you know for sure whether the water is too hot.
The duck allows you to change between F fahrenheit or C celcius with ease. So don't worry if you prefer one over the other.
This is a very minor detail, but I also appreciate that the packaging is colourful and looks very presentable. It does not matter if you're buying this for your own personal use, but this becomes a nice bonus if you are buying this as a gift for another friend with kids or friend that simply loves ducks.
