- Reviewed in Canada on June 7, 2025I ordered this pair of fairy lanterns as a craft to do with my grandkids. They have their own set at their place, so I decided to get these for when they come over and sleep at our house.
The kit comes with two plastic mason jars (not glass, which is great), 2 remote controls, and a battery pack that you put in each lantern. Both battery packs take 2 AAA batteries, not included. Each of the 2 remotes require CR2025 batteries, and these ARE included. The remotes can change the color and also set a timer. It comes with all the accessories needed for decorating the inside. You glue the sides of the jar inside, put in your fairies, add glitter, seal the lid, and then shake.
You can add the battery back before or after you shake it.
For the outside you have metal handles that can be decorated with string, ribbon, flowers, etc.
What I liked is that they give you stickers that you can attach to the flowers and other decorations that make it easy to adhere to the jar.

This is such a fun craft to do. The grandkids now have their own night lights for sleepovers, and they love them!
