  This receiver is incredibly easy to set up, even for an amateur. The only mistake I made is not realizing that it won't support a passive subwoofer, it operates only via a monaural connection. The workaround was easy enough by buying an individual sub amp which was only $40 (CAD) to get going. All in all though the 5 minute calibration is very thorough and got me watching in no time. Great buy.
