Using this at work because my director is too cheap to buy a new temp gun when the old one is off 2 to 5 degrees from the expensive one in the fish department. 2 to 5 degrees. The city requires a working temp gun so that us managers can have our fridges and freezers in working temperature ranges, and the cheapo uses $20 no-name guns that crap out after 3 years, and he won't buy new ones because he has 16 old ones off by a few degrees and "wants to see if they are still good" even though he has zero electrical knowledge and the only thing we can do is change the battery, which we did, and it changed nothing. Lets see how far this one goes. I went for this one because it has good reviews and I'm only hoping to get 5 years out of it at most for the price, because I don't believe el cheapo will repay me more than this amount for a temp gun, and this seems hella better quality than his el cheapo guns. And I get that we can just fib the results on paper like unprofessional el cheapos. So far using it, it works well. Laser lights on trigger, and it takes a little getting used to the height difference between where you are pointing and where you are scanning, but that is insignificant. Display is easy enough to read and the design is neat. Gun is easy to hold. I like it.
