- Reviewed in Canada on February 11, 2025These quickly went from 5 stars to 1 star when I noticed the chrome flaking off the electrical contacts and the pitting off the alloy underneath. I purchased several boxes and approximately 40% of the bulbs have this problem. I can only guess that it could be related to moisture, maybe condensation if they went from a very cold truck to a warm warehouse or something like that. Maybe the cardboard packaging is slightly acidic coupled with an tiny electrical current from the bulbs and moisture such as high humidity. Just completely guessing here. The carboard packaging does not appear to have been wet. The bulbs are described as being suitable for use in damp locations so that makes this issue all the more surprising. One box was missing the portable holders and had one bulb that did not work at all. Other than that, the unaffected bulbs worked as expected.
