  This plastic sheeting is as thick as stated (6 mil) and is good and strong. I used it to cover a planting bed that had become weedy with sow thistle. It's weighted down with bricks and seems to be holding up well. I can walk over it without any indication of wear or tearing. It has been there for four weeks now and looks just the same as when I put it down.
