- Reviewed in Canada on September 17, 2024The first thing that caught my eye while unpacking this tripod bag (I'll mostly refer to it as a bag) is the use of very bold red for highlighting some borders. It will distinguish this from the rest of the gear that is all black and when piled in the back seat of my car, gets to be tedious to separate visually. Ironically the only other bags and cases of mine that has colour trim is the heavy fabric bag that came with my pricey video tripod. So I will move around my equipment to have tripods in colour trim bags and light stands in plain black - it's a start.The media could not be loaded.
The materials used are just as good as my best bag. What sets this apart is the clever feature of one end being totally zippered so it can be left exposed to accommodate long stands. It's a better option than unzipping the main zipper running the length of the bag, I think.
The 3 long pockets to keep stands/tripods from scratching each other are generous in size. They stop short of the end of the bag with the zip off panel so the bulk of tripod heads and light stand end grips don't impede things. Of course the pockets can be ignored and additional items set in the bag to your liking.
On the exterior are two centered zip pouches. 30cm w x 15cm h x 3cm thick. Inside there is a zippered flat pouch, i.e. no depth for thick items.
