  I purchased this item for a Secret Santa Gift this past Christmas... the person who I purchased it for said that they would use the machine for pasta sauces and other recipes that require a medium sized blender... It's the perfect size for their purposes... It looked pretty solid when opened... great quality for the cost... Thank you!
