  3 stars because I don’t think there is anything wrong with the item but it is VERY small and I feel the listing is somewhat misleading. There’s no way to make two sandwiches in this thing and it would probably only work for a single person. I bought this with my family in mind and I would have to cook each steak, chicken breast, sandwich, etc individually and it would take forever. The lid opens flat for grilling but for making sandwiches the lid is hinged normally and it does squish one side of the bread down nearly flat while the other side is fine.
  Overall, it wasn’t worth it to me and I returned it.
  
  Pros: great for a single person with limited space
  Cons: too small for a family or a proper, not squished, panini.
