- Reviewed in Canada on November 4, 2023I bought these recently because we needed new non-stick pans, and I didn't want Teflon. The granite coating is holding up well, though we've only had them for a month. They haven't stained or had any issue, despite cooking tomato-based meals several times. They're great for cooking eggs and such without a lot of oil in the pan, so they're great for healthy cooking. I love the sizes of the 3 pans in this set.
Now for my complaints. The pots, particularly for cooking rice, do not work all that well. They end up with a dried, starchy film around the edge of the pot, which is impossible to avoid (even after washing rice thoroughly and trying different kinds). I will stick with my stainless steel pots for most things. These look really nice, though.
Secondly, the lids are a bit annoying, because after a few uses, the handles started separating from the lid itself just a tiny bit. Not even enough to feel loose or be a hazard, by any means, but because of their design, they collect water inside the handle when washing. I then have to grab a screwdriver, loosen the handle, empty it out, and tighten it again. For someone who already dislikes washing dishes, this is a really annoying extra step to take every single time. Even knowing that, though, I would absolutely buy them again for the pans alone.
