Original Review: Bought at the start of Fall of 2023. I liked the PM2.5 sensor built-in, didn't care for the fragrance pads but its there if you enjoy that sort of thing.
It performed well for the first month or so of almost daily use (~8h/day). Despite being advertised as quiet all the but the lowest of the 3 fan speeds were very audible, even when wearing headphones in my office. The quietest I've been able to measure the unit with my phone is around 30-35dB in a typical room on its lowest setting. On the second and third fan speed, a ticking sound can be heard coming from the fan, coming through even the wind noise. I personally left the unit on its lowest setting for the majority of its runtime.
Starting around the 2nd month the unit suddenly began creating a grinding noise from the fan. A quick shuffle of the unit on a desktop sorted out the noise, but over the next while the grinding problem returned with increasing frequency and eventually became a permanent issue. I eventually just put it back in the box and put it away, unimpressed and frustrated by the issues in such a short time span.
This may be an issue with my unit in particular, but as-is I would NOT recommend this product to anyone because of the noise and the seemingly poor durability of the fan in particular. Shame that it lasted just long enough to be outside of 鶹s return window.
Its been sitting back in its box on a shelf since December, just getting around to reviewing it now as I contemplate disposing of this product.
