  I purchased this calculator as it was one of the approved calculators at my university for the school of engineering; having used a TI-84 graphing calculator previously, I must say that this calculator is alot more intuitive to use, has all of the features you would ever need for a variety of engineering classes or just for performing simple calculations.
  
  I picked this calculator over the Casio MS series since the display is larger and allows you to input equations as they're shown in textbooks, which is super helpful when dealing with larger equations with many cubic roots, exponents, etc...
  
  That being said, I'm sure I will discover more features about this calculator as I use it, but so far I am very happy with it, and for CAD$15 I can't complain!
