  I'm rather suspicious of the high reviews of this product. I received it as a gift last Christmas. It doesn't get as hot as I thought it would. The lid has a lot of plastic that comes very close to the elements and it takes a long time to clean. Not to mention the amount of space it takes up on a counter. I am looking to replace this with something else.
