  My grandson rec'd this for his 3rd birthday just a few days ago so I can't speak about how durable it is but he was absolutely over the moon happy with it. It's a good size for an outdoor dirt pile. He found it easy to work the stabilizer legs and other parts of the toy. His parents were happy with it too.
