  The clamp is mostly metallic and heats up, so it is likely to burn your neck. I’m talking about the part that sticks out like this ⤵️
  
  It doesn’t feel like a safe product.
  
  Secondly, the curls don’t last at all. I didn’t have this problem with a ceramic curling iron. The curls dropped within an hour with this one.
  
  I bought this one because I can see my black hair better with a gold background, but since the product feels dangerous and does not make lasting curls, I am returning it.
