  This will work well except for the following conditions:
  1) Not good for heavier laptops, say 14" and up. The biggest issue is the bottom flip-out support bar. It is not good for larger laptops like a 15.6" laptop as it flexes way too much and could break. If that was fixed this would be near perfect.
  2) The 4 "non-slip" round pads on the bottom are too small and too slippery for heavier items. But that can be remedied by sticking on your better own non-slip pads.
  3) The size is on the small size for a 15.6 inch laptop, even if it was better built.
