  Nice simple design that is well made. You can fit a full pound of butter in this dish - the only issue is the tolerances are so small that, if you butter is soft, you'll often find it getting caught between the lid and the base whenever you're closing the container. So, you either need to go very slowly and carefully when closing, or put less then a full pound of butter in it if you want to avoid a mess
