  The lights look great, and I didn't have problems with the adhesive (yet) that other people have complained about. What's frustrating about these lights is that the promised Google Home/Assistant connectivity is broken. I'm sure Govee knows that it doesn't work because there's complaints about it online spanning back over a year. I would have returned these lights had I known but I left them in the box past the returns window. The app is insanely cluttered - although having a lot of options is a plus. The actual connectivity is janky as well — you'll find yourself tapping on options multiple times for the lights to respond.
  
  Shame that the software is so bad. I would put in a warranty claim if I had time. Govee should stop claiming that these lights are Google Home/Assistant compatible. I've also read of lots of complaints from Alexa/Apple Homekit users complaining that it doesn't work.
