Customer Review

Came back here to write my review after having this for 1.5 years. I would say that my biggest gripe is that the internal volume is considerably smaller than what you'd expect from microwaves of similar outer dimensions. However, for what you gain for it's second function as an air fryer, I think it was an ok trade off. It functions fine as a microwave, and functions also just fine as an air fryer.

Biggest advantage, and likely the reason you are buying this, is that you live in a small space and you need to optimize countertop space. You want a microwave, but also want an air fryer. For that, you get a pretty good combo appliance that saves you space for the same footprint as a standard microwave oven.

Big plus is also this works with "combi" cooking. Which is basically using the air fryer and microwave functions in one mode. They don't actually function simultaneously, but it instead switches between air fry and microwave through the time you set. This is actually great for certain kinds of cooking... Like ever get annoyed that when you air fry and you need a lot of time for something to cook all the way through? You can cut that time down with combi cooking. If you've worked in a commercial kitchen and ever used a TurboChef, it's the same idea... Except TurboChefs actually use the convection and microwave simultaneously for significant time saving. This is no TurboChef, but it comes close for domestic home use.

That said, we've thoroughly enjoyed using this. Still feel small for the internal cooking volume, but for a couple with no kids... it's perfectly fine. Only other annoyance I have is the dial to set the time and temperature... Would have preferred a number pad, but it works...
