A must have, even if you don't necessarily use the strap locks

The dual design is great: the strap buttons are easy to install and can be used with or without the strap locks. With strap locks you get maximum security, but even without them the instrument is firmly held due to how large the buttons are. By not using the strap locks, the only risk would actually come from the strap, if it's old and has loose holes.
