  I used this GFCI replacement plug to repair a damaged cord. Installation was straightforward—just match the wires (black/live, green/ground, white/neutral) and secure them.
  Remember to put the grommet on the cord first.
  The build quality looks and feels rugged enough to withstand daily use. I like the green indicator light—it clearly shows when the outlet is live and functioning.
  It also features built-in surge and lightning protection, rated up to 6kV.
