- Reviewed in Canada on August 23, 2020My previous experience with screen protectors is that every time until now I ended up with tiny bits of dust on the screen, creating bubbles under the protector. That is such a frustrating experience to have that I simply quit using them. The reason I bought a protector (and soft case) for my Fire tablet is that the primary user is our toddler, so it would be better to have bubbles than a scratched screen. However, I did not experience bubbling anyway.
This protector is quite firm and I think that reduces bubbling, but the product also comes with the right tools to make installation as simple as possible. That is, instead of just getting a cloth, you get stickers that lift the dust from the screen, and stickers that are used to temporarily attach the protector to one side so that it's lined up properly to allow you to quickly install it the moment your screen is free of dust. This is crucial; it's easy to get dust off of the screen but there's going to be more dust seconds later so the quicker you can work, the better.
The protector is a nice size, covering the entire screen except for the camera, and is easy to wipe clean and scratch-free to date.
There are two protectors included. It still seems a little pricey for that but then, on the other hand, it's a good quality product and much cheaper than replacing a tablet screen.
