Got this for use in the office. When setting up PCs, if they are not official corporate assets they don't get digital certificates needed to connected to wired network. But we have our Guest Wifi which works fine for most things, including activating windows. And since most PCs don't have built in WiFi, this is where this comes in.

Used it recently when I setup a new PC with Windows 11. After basic install, inserted the device in, and got a driver letter (just like when you install a USB key). Pleasantly surprised that the driver was include on that drive, so you don't have to go looking. Installed it, and it worked perfectly.

Connected to WiFi 5Ghz band, activated windows and downloaded the latest updates. I did not do any formal speed tests, but did not experience anything that felt too slow. Either way, it would be hard for me to test, since I am pretty sure our guest wifi has a bandwidth cap, so it would not be fair.

As a test I did manage to connect a small set of BT earbuds, and it worked as expected.

I actually like the longer antenna. I am assuming it helps a little with the reception, but using enterprise grade wireless access points, this was not an issue for me.

I only tested it with Windows, so I can't comment on MacOS or Linux.
