- Reviewed in Canada on January 14, 2025When i got this phone I was impressed. It looked 95% brand new with one slight blemish. I had read reviews that these refurbished phones have cheap replacement parts. I found out the hard way this is true. Ive had it now for about 4 months and my Main complaint is the battery is terrible. it is worse than my old Samsung s 20 fe that I had for 3 years and had treated horribly, and likely any phone ive had in the past. The first time the battery died I realized that there was a bug with booting the phone, it wouldn't show the charging precent and the phone would not turn on. I had to learn how to launch the phone in a special mode and then the phone would start charging normally from 0%. This isn't always easy to do, especially if the phone died away from home or I was in a hurry. I thought it was a charger or software issue originally but updates and different chargers havnt fixed the problem and I have to make sure the phone never dies. It will randomly bug out in some apps and freeze/ or crash. I'm sure the phones quality Samsung battery has been replaced with a cheap replacement.
Overall very dissapointed with this phone. I use my phones for everything and keep them for around 3 years. I'm certain I won't be able to do that with this one. I 100% would of rather spent the extra money and bought new, or even found a used phone without junk parts.
