- Reviewed in Canada on July 21, 2025This fire resistant case feels heavy duty using a combination of composite EVA and coated fiberglass to add rigidity while making it feel rugged. Interior compartments are neatly buckled into the casing which allows me to organize folders, accessories, and even fits a slimmer 15.6" laptop using elastic straps. While spacious, there are slight caveats to its level of heat resistance. Zippers glide across smoothly and layered under a silicon coated fiberglass while being able to latch into position using side mounted locks. Interior pockets and straps are made from standard nylon or banded elastic but does keep things neatly organized inside. The rugged shell is multi layered relying on a gapped interior compartment which is fitted using a secondary zipper. This hard case certainly has a rugged feel while standing upright. Temperature resistance is moderate being fiberglass, composite and EVA shell and despite being well constructed some of the rubberized components like handle, underside feet, interior padding, and even silicon coating is prone to lower temperatures. Another neat part is the lift top handle creates a briefcase vibe standing upright and being comfortable to grasp onto while lugging around.
