  This DeWalt battery adapter has a lot more going on than it might seem at first glance. It has an on-off switch on it, a fuse holder a fuse and two spares (that's mandatory with lithium batteries) and can be mounted on a wall. The wire coming off the battery connector is 12AWG, which is better than a lot of the cheaper adapters. The barrel plug connecting to Starlink is 14AWG, which is fine for the application but it can also be easily removed and swapped out for a different connector for a different application.
  
  I tried both off-brand and DeWalt batteries with this adapter and all slide on and off easily and lock securely.
  
  Overall, this is actually a good value, even though the battery adapter alone can be had for under $30. By the time you get a power switch, fuse holder and barrel plug, you'll be close price-wise. Hope this helps!!
