This adapter is a perfect fit for DeWalt and DeWalt-equivalent batteries to give you 18v or 20v into a standard 5521 barrel connector.
That means this adapter can be used for more than just Starlink Mini. Any appliance that needs 18-20vdc with a lower or similar current draw should work fine, which is an absolute boon for RV travellers who need internet on the go, but who also need to save weight and space.
And this adapter gives you the peace of mind that, if your application draws more than 30A, or if you accidentally short out the leads somehow, the built in 30A fuse will blow to keep you safe. And they have kindly included two spare fuses in case that happens.
In case you need to change out the adapter end, there is also a handy reusable two-pole wire connector so you can unclip the existing barrel connector and replace it with something else without crimping or soldering. Again, this is hugely handy for an RV where tools and soldering equipment may not be readily available.

This adapter is designed to operate the Starlink Mini system using a Dewalt 20V battery. We thought it might work with our Gen 3 home system because we often have power outages. However it will not provide enough power to operate it. The home system requires 57 volts to operate and the Dewalt as mentioned only has a 20v output. It powered it on but not enough to make the connection to internet.
The quality of the unit seems quite good. The wiring is of a thick gauge and its fused (3 30 amp fuses are included). There is also a power switch on the unit. All is not lost if you do want to run your Gen 3 Starlink on a 20V Dewalt battery. You'd need to buy a step up power unit that would convert 20v to 57v. They are available from vendors here on 鶹. I can't see any reason why this unit would not run a Starlink Mini system and with some minor mods could be used with a step up transformer to run the regular Gen 3 unit. If you live in an area that has a lot of power outages this may be the way to go.

I plan to use a Dewalt battery to power a device that requires approx 12 volts. I tested this adapter and the output voltage is 20.2 volts and I plan to use a buck converter to reach my target voltage.
The adapter comes with an on/off switch as well as a fuse and nice wire connector so this will do nicely.
