Got this for our four year old who is science driven. Like any microscope, it takes some adjusting and the object is best viewed on a very flat surface but it gives a clear image. We checked out some plant leaves and snowflakes over the holidays. Lots of fun. Nice and compact. Bright light and easy enough for anyone to use. Turn the dials slowly to focus.
