It is an OK tracer tool. It requires to be plugged in. no internal battery. Has three brightness levels. But i find the brightest setting not that bright. So i've seen some with > 10000lux that are brighter than this one. So You will get what you pay for. This isnt to say this is unusable -- it frankly is just fine . But if you really want something brighter for more details, you might wanna look around.
