  It's small, it's light, easy to clean.
  
  The only slight negative going for it is that it isn't wide enough for some large vegetables.
  
  The blade is removable for sharpening, which is not something many mandolines support.
  
  I secure the guide to the mandoline using an elastic band so that it does double duty as a blade cover/protector.
