- Reviewed in Canada on August 19, 2022Edit: Sept 2022: Although it took a while, I am grateful to finally get a replacement pencil by the manufacturer but was told 鶹 was not an authorized store dealer but they made an exception for me. I compared the prices and was shocked at how much I would have to pay if I didn't buy it here. Thus, I am changing my rating to 5 stars because I am afraid it would have cost me a chunk more. These are still beautiful pencils and sealed in the box. It was only one pencil that I saw had the defect. However, I have not tried all the pencils yet. I wouldn't be able to comment on any breakages yet.
One of the pitt pastel pencils shorter than the rest. I expected more from Faber-Castell for professional artist pencils but it seems like they don't care about quality assurance. The seller said each box was sealed and said there was no way they could look inside but they were willing to give a refund. I tried to contact Faber-Castell but no response. It doesn't seem worth returning and buying again as the price is higher than I paid. My local art store did not sell this size set. I feel disappointed but I am going to be extra careful about sharpening. I have not used these pencils yet, so I can't comment about that.
