Strozzapreti means Priest Strangler - which I learned from watching David Rocco's Dolce Vita! Besides being a cool name with a great backstory from the old country, I don't understand how David is able to import pasta that is this high quality, it is truly outstanding.
What our family did was pair this with his Ricotta & Pecorino sauce, tore up some fresh basil leaves - about 10, then we grated some more pecorino over top, little drizzle of olio and Buon Appetito! Awesome product David - thanks for being our family's favorite Canadian Cook of all time - (FYI He isn't a chef, and he never claimed to be one- even though personally I think he's better than 95% of all chefs in the world) Mille Grazie!
