  I've tried Thayers and Badescu yet still come back to this. Thayer's is great for the nose because the witch hazel in it helps with pore - so I keep it around; but for my overall face, this toner refreshes, doesn't "drag" on the face, and has a nice light scent. It does what a toner should do without leaving skin feeling "stripped" - even though I only have ever bought non-alchol toners. This one is a gentle friend that my skin loves. I have "mature" skin and so far, this is the best toner I've used.
