A well written book. It was interesting reading about the lives of men and women during that era. The politics of the day were so different from today. Americans obsession with Germany verses Japan during the war was also very interesting. They didn't seem to believe Japan was a major threat, but were willing to drop the bomb on them. Proof that the bomb's target was the Soviet Union.

My only knock would be that the author goes into too much detail on certain issues. But that is minor.
