  I wear a women’s size 8 sock and needed the sock aid device for after hip surgery. I bought this because the picture showed a woman’s foot and sock in the picture. Some of the sock aids are took big for smaller socks, but this one works very well. I have used it to practice putting on my socks before surgery. The physiotherapist was quite impressed with this device and I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I could use it. I usually wear the short socks that end below your ankle and this device works well for that.
