  This really was simple to setup. I followed the other reviews advice and reset my Chromecast first. Once complete, I unplugged it and switched it over to the Ethernet and turned it back on. That’s it - no messing around with Wi-Fi.
  
  After running a few tests the ping is reduced and loading content is faster. Once streaming there’s no difference for me as my Wi-Fi was decent however this product really does improve latency. Feels snappier.
  
  I took away one star because it takes a little more amps than expected so had to use a different USB port or the chromecast rebooted due to insufficient power. Also, the cables are a little long for my taste. Overall it’s good quality though.
