  I've used a mulching mower for over 30 years (john deer, craftsman, etc.). Always a top line model with OEM mulching blade. Currently Craftsman 22" self propelled. This blade is a major upgrade.
  
  Just mowed my 80 year old neighbour's lawn (first mow). damp/wet/very long (8-12"). No grass clumps. none. Expected to have a thick coating of clippings under the deck as per usual (even i summer). Nothing. amazing.
  
  As someone else noted, not a lot of lift (little branches still there when mowed), but turns grass clippings into powder, even damp grass.
