Customer Review

Bought these after paying a lot more for similar screws. A few important things: first, I was suspect that these were cheaply made. First thing I did was try and break one. They bend like a nail, they don't snap like a cheap screw, bending is what you want in a structural screw, so that's good. Second, these are NOT 1/4" shank, the 1/4" is the outer diameter of the threads, the shank is actually 11/32", so considerably smaller. Lastly, all the screws I recieved have scratches and dings on the shank, which have penetrated the coating leaving bare metal visible, which will certainly compromise corrosion performance long term. Coating, fit and finish of the washer heads looks great, so at least the heads won't visibly rust. All that being said, the price is right at about $0.25 a screw.

Great screw for the price, but read this before buying
