Did not use my car for a few days in the freezing cold and the battery was fully drained.
Hooked this YaberAuto YA60 up, turned it on and then held the 鈥淏oost鈥 button for 3 seconds to activate. Turned key in car and it started right away. The battery indicator at the time was at 80%. After starting the car, the indicator showed charge at 65%. It meant starting the car drained 15% power out of this booster.
Make sure that you don鈥檛 accidentally turn the 鈥淒C鈥 power to 鈥渃ontinuous on鈥 by pressing the power button 3 times. Was playing around with this option and forgot to turn it off for 2 weeks. When I took the YA60 out to check, the power was down from 99% to 58%. That 鈥淒C鈥 icon flashing continuously drains the power. This was my fault but just to remind everyone not to make this same mistake.
UPDATE: After a week later, I did not use my car again for a couple of days in the cold and car battery was too weak to turn over. I once again attached the YA60 to the car battery, turned 鈥渂oost鈥 to on. Started the car without any issue. This time the drain on the YA60 was not that much due to the car battery not completely dead. This jumpstart only drained 1% of the charge on the YA60. This made me realize that the drain on the YA60 is dependent on how weak the car battery is.
