  It has a nice smell that dissipates after a few minutes. The spray is large enough to cover a lot of skin so you don't have to spread it with your hands. But be careful when spraying near the face cause it does get in the air a bit so close your eyes. I used it mainly on my 1 year old and it worked really well to keep the mosquitoes away. Since it has no deet it's safe for babies and sensitive skin. No irritation.
  The bottle is not very big but I still got a lot of use out of it.
  Also, I did put it on clothes, shoes and hats and ot did not stain at all.
  I will probably repurchase since it's good value and works great.
