  This seat does not fasten well or securely to the toilet. I had read reviews that mentioned this, but decided that they must've installed it improperly.
  
  Nope. We installed it perfectly, and with the slightest pressure on one arm, the seat pops right off the toilet. If purchased for a senior or a person who is unsteady and who might use one arm to steady themselves as they walk closer or go to sit... boom. That person is on the floor.
  
  For a more secure seat, look for a front clamp style, or even better, a bolt on style (which is what we ended up purchasing after returning this).
