  I have not read a novel in almost 10 years, but I recently decided to get back into reading, and to start with the novel that inspired my favorite movie. 5 stars. This book is great, as great as the movie, yet very different. The story and the characters are different, so it's like reading a new yet familiar story, not spoiled if you saw the movie. I highly recommend and will definitively buy the sequel.
