I had the original Nest , which served me well until it failed and I replaced it with a Gen 2 Nest after Google had purchased Nest. The quality was awful and the wifi connection often failed, plus they charged $10 per month for access to the camera history.. then after a year it died. Ugh. After reading the reviews on the AOSU, I decided to try a new brand. The setup was so simple, the app works great, the doorbell is loud, and it works with Google home. In order to test it, we ordered McDonalds at 3:30 AM. The camera senses individuals, and starts to record. Image quality is great. :)
