this is really convenient, i love it. first of all, the ability to unlock and lock from afar is sooo good. as is the choice to be notified when the door has been successfully auto-locked, since my mom tends to be paranoid about that.
and it's crazy customizable! you can even customize which part of the screen needs to see movement to trigger an alarm, and how far the camera will sense in different radians of the screen (im explaining that badly, but it's basically like--you can assign the left side of the camera's screen to sense movement up to 6 feet away, but in the middle of the screen, have it sense up to 15 feet away) i never had such a smart lock before, so maybe this is normal, but anyway i was dead impressed.
the fingerprint scanner isn't always consistent, but that's just the manner of fingerprint scanners, even the ones on your phone... not a biggy as long as you record a few different fingers, since it'll read at least one if not the other.
the company seems very attentive to its customers, according to what i saw online. when i emailed them, they also sent me the round deadbolt holder (? brace? faceplate? what do u even call that) to replace the rectangular faceplate. (granted, they did forget about me bit and i had to remind them a week later, but i found it HILARIOUS when they sent me what was basically the professional version of an "oh shit, oh shit, sorry" email, so im not troubled about it.)
i do wish the notifications or doorbell sounds from the machine can be adjusted in volume separate from the other volume controls, but maybe it'll be a future addition :)
