  Second time purchasing these. I understand they are for sourdough and that's what I've been using one for. The other, however, I've used to stir soups, stews, pasta, flip eggs etc and they are FANTASTIC. When using them to stir stews, soups, pasta etc they work so well. They don't break things up like chunks of meat, soft potatoes, pasta etc, it just glides through it. The wood is super sturdy and will not snap. Feels great in the hand and cleans up well. Works just as great in my sourdough starter! Cleans the sides of my jars and strong enough to stir the stiffest of starters! Highly recommend!
