  I bought this as a gift for a 3 year old girl based on the stellar reviews. It arrived today and I flipped through it to see if it would be something my own daughters would enjoy.
  
  I definitely love it, but it seems like some of the pages (you don't have to be invited to every party etc) might apply to to the 5 year old+ crowd vs a 3 year old. I am not sure if the "story" would be interesting to a 3 year old.
  
  It is a wonderful book with lovely illustrations but I will keep it for my children and look for something else a bit more engaging for the 3 year old I had originally bought it for.
