- Reviewed in Canada on January 6, 2024I love this wet kitten food! But I did come across a rancid can in my pack I just bought, never happened before. I didn't realize it was rancid as I was half asleep, it smelled a bit stronger than normal and was pretty dry compared to all other cans. They're dated for 2025. So... after feeding my kittens this food, my one kitten decides he's not hungry after only eating a few bites and I thought it was weird, the other cat ate it all. The kitten that ate it all, puked after a few hours and had a bit of the runs bit overall seemed fine. The first kitten that only had a few bites though ended up very ill for the day with very mucusy stools and puke white foam because of stomach upset. (They're both okay now) I do recommend that you make sure they smell "normal" to you and that they do have a bit of liquid to them...10 people found this helpfulReport PermalinkHelpful
